I think for me this was as much a celebration that we made it through her first year as it was that she was one!!

Sadie's 1st Birthday
On October 24, 2007 Sadie turned a year old. I know that we are just as crazy as can be to have a party for our dog, but we just love her so much and it was fun! Will, the kids and I all decorated cupcakes, we made Sadie her own dog-safe cake and we invited our wonderful next door neighbors Kari, Marissa and Morgan to come help us celebrate. Sadie was very excited about opening her presents and loved her cake.

This is too cute. We did the same thing for our dog Cody. He was our baby before Aly and we invited Cody's best friend, Bitsy, and our families to join us for cake and icecream. So fun! I'm so proud that you made it through that first year!
We have puppy dog birthday parties, too.:)
I'm glad you made it through her first year. Is she doing better now? Gordon still has his moments, but he's getting there.

If so, you deserve a party for making it through that first year! I had no idea what that first year would be like before we got Luke. Every year since has gotten better (except the shedding).
